The Countermeasure Research Of Resolving Social Contradictions In Rural China During The Transformation Society

With the fast development of globalization, great changes have taken place in the social practice of China(social life itself, ways of human activity and communication, etc.), and the society has entered into a rapid transformation period. At the same time when China has won great achievements, social contradictions have also emerged concentrative, which has become the consensus of academic and political circles. In China today, social contradictions exist prevalently. The basic-level society, especially the vast rural areas, is in the high incidence area of contradictions, where the basic-level government has inevitably become the focus of social contradictions and conflicts. Why does the high incidence area of social contradictions in transforming society(social transformation and system transition) exist in the grassroots level? What are the inducements and the occurring mechanism of basic-level social contradictions? Why has the basic-level government become the focus of social contradictions? What is the role definition of the basic-level government in resolving basic-level social contradictions? What is the effective mechanism of the basic-level government to resolve the social contradictions? The answers to these questions need to be established on the basis of scientific and rigorous theoretical thinking and profound and meticulous social investigations. China is still a big agricultural country. China shall be unstable if the rural areas are unstable. Therefore, to study our rural social contradictions in transforming society and to put forward countermeasures to resolve the social contradictions are particularly important. Based on his deep-going investigations in Z Town, C City, H Province, the author attempts to answer the above questions according to the firsthand investigation data with a hope to have some benefits for the practice of the basic-level government to resolve the social contradictions.Based on sorting the theoretical research results and summarizing the practical experience of the basic-level government in resolving rural social contradictions, and on the overall historical background of transforming society, this paper makes deep analysis on the current situation of rural social contradictions and, with all of his power, brings forward operational and targeted countermeasures for resolution of social contradictions in rural areas. This paper consists of five parts.:Part I, Introduction. This part for explaining research background and significance, research status at home and abroad, research thought, research method, structural arrangement, research approach and research innovation points of this paper.Part II, Theoretical Analysis. This part analyses theoretical theories which are related to resolution of social contradictions in our rural areas in transforming society, builds the theoretical analysis framework of this subject research and tamps the theoretical foundation for this subject research.Part III, Practical Analysis. Taking Z Town, C City, H Province as an example, this part analyses the current situation of resolving rural social contradictions in transforming society and, on such a basis, elucidates the causes and characteristics of rural social contradictions in transforming society, and evaluates the current system and mechanism of basic-level government to resolve rural social contradictions.Part IV, Construction of Countermeasures. Based on the above researches, this part explains the significance of resolving rural social contradiction in transforming society and constructs major mechanisms for basic-level government to resolve social contradictions in rural areas.
