A Study Of Wulanfu’s Thought About Minority Political Identity

Political identity is always important in the nation work of our country. As the economy growing rapid and the society changing fast today, attach more importance to it is worthy. Political identity should be considered from two angles: minority members identify the current political system, or the current political system is recognized by minority members. Instead of analyzing the political identity problem from minority members’ point of view, current researchers mainly take the current political system as the main part of the problem.As a Mongolian and communist party member, during Chinese revolution and construction, Wulanfu leads the nation work, he has made important contributions to reunification of our motherland, national unity, and to liberation and socialist construction in Inner Mongolia. He is both a minority member and a leader in the Chinese political system, in the national work process of Inner Mongolia, which is an iconic area, and in the Chinese revolution and construction career, taking "identity" and "to be recognized" as his point of view and Marxism-Leninism as his guide, he thoroughly investigating the actual situation of the Inner Mongolia region, place and people, therefore forms minority political identity thought with both theoretical and practical value.Wulanfu’s minority political identity thought is formed from the reality of our multi-nation unified country, and from the reality of the Inner Mongolia region, in which live Mongolia, Han and many other minorities, and is always standing at the height of the Chinese nation and considering national interests of his own national interests He always emphasize the importance of political identity, emphasize the nation work should adhere to the leadership of Chinese Communist Party, to maintain national unity. Based on this thought, he practice nation work considering the reality of Inner Mongolia; therefore made remarkable achievements.Therefore, it is specifically worthy to analyze Wulanfu’s political identity thought. This article is aiming at exploring its contemporary value, by analyzing its background and source and summarizing its main contents.This article is mainly composed of three chapters. Summary of the contents is as follows:The first chapter is about the origins of Wulanfu’s political identity thought. The course of the forming and developing of Wulanfu’s political identity thought is also the course of the forming and developing of Wulanfu’s national thought. Wulanfu’s political identity thought generates and develops in the historical period of Chinese revolution and construction in the twentieth century, and has two origins: one is the national theory and political identity thought of Marxism and the principles and policies on nation issues of the Communist Party of China; the other is the simple national thoughts in Mongolian. The former is the main source.The second chapter describes the main content of Wulanfu’s minority political identity thought. The resources of political identity are mainly composed of consciousness based, system based and feat based resources. Consciousness based resource is embodied as the identity of the ruling party, system based resource is embodied as the identity of the socialist system and of the party’s nation policies, and feat based resource is embodied as the party’s advocates about economic development in minority areas.The third chapter is about the contemporary value of Wulanfu’s minority political identity thought. Wulanfu’s minority political identity thought is mainly reflected in the contribution to the national theory of Marxism,to Regional National Autonomy System, as well as to harmonious society construction.
