In the world with a unit of national-state, almost all nations is consisted ofmutli-nationalities, especially in the background of globalization. In such premise, acitizen also has its own ethnic affiliation in addition to belong to the nation. It hasbeen a major research perspective to explore the issue of ethnic groups’ nationalidentity from the perspective of the relationship between ethnic identity and nationalidentity. The ethnic factors have important influence on the formation andconstruction of minority national identity, but the extent of impact relies on theexternal environment.Through deepening research on the political identity of Mosuo people, The paperexplores the friend development and mutual integration between Mosuo people andother ethnic groups, seeks effective ways to promote the implementation of nationalsystems and social management systems in the border areas and the construction ofharmonious society, and effectively improve the level of political identity of Mosuopeople. By empirical investigation, the author draws these conclusions as following:generally, the political identity of Mosuo people Present a relatively good state, butthese variables such as gender, occupation, education Party affiliation and so on haveinfluence on political identity in some extent. Based on the above-mentioned results,the author thinks that the political identity should be improved from three aspects:(1)Based on the dominant ideology propaganda, further promote the political identity;(2)Perfecting the channels of political participation so as to enhance the political identity;(3) Improving social environment of democratic politics by Improving the people’slivelihood in the border and minority areas.
