Capital is one of the most outstanding works of Marx. It is not only a great economic work, but also a great philosophical work, and its meaning of philosophy is very worthy of study, and which the labor theory is one example.The creation of Capital is closely linked with the historical background of the rapid development of capitalism and the intense class contradictions, and Marx’s rich personal experience. Marx’s concept of labor is based on the work of previous ideas,and the conformation of Marx’s labor theory is a process from bud to mature. From the theory of alienation to historical materialism and the Capital, it involves a lot of Marx’s writings.The content of Marx’s labor theory is very rich in the Capital. Marx argues that labor composed of labor subject, object of labor, labor process, labor tools and so on, and the linkages between elements of labor is indivisible, and labor has some characteristic as reality, the history of labor, human science and ontology. In Capital, based on the study of "commodity", Marx analyzed the relationship between labor and capital, and established the labor theory of value and the theory of Surplus value. Labor history view is Marx’s theory of human conception of history, is based on the historical view of labor. in the Capital, Marx takes the fact as the basis, elaborated the labor history view, emphasized the basic labor, labor and promote the historical development, make human development.The labor theory of Capital has important theoretical significance of and contemporary value. Concept of labor is the core of Marx theory system, and plays an important role in the studying and creating of historical materialism, political economics and scientific socialism. At the same time, Marx’s concept of labor has important contemporary value, to study Marx’s concept of labor helps to firmly establish the people-oriented values, but also for the construction of harmonious labor relations and provides an important guiding ideology.
