Ethnic Relations Seen From Women’s Marriage Choice Of The West Of Ma Gai Hui Village In Shandong Southwest

Along with the reform and open policy thorough, rapid change of environment of domestic politics,economy,culture,ethnic exchanges become more frequent and the mutual understanding becomes more deepening,people’s marriage and family values gradually diversified and the areas of scattered and mixed region appeared in a large number of ethnic intermarriage.The ethnic intermarriage can reflect the relations between different ethnic groups in the political, economic, cultural,language and other aspects. The study selects areas of scattered and mixed region West of Magai Hui to do the field investigation, and through the intermarriage of the Xi Ma Gai to analysis the latest developments of the ethnic relations of the scattered and mixed region.Located in the southwest of Shandong, West of Magai is a typical Hui village in the areas of the scattered and mixed. Affected by the frequent interaction with the local Han,the proportion of the intermarriage of Hui generations who living in the West of Magai rising,and in the premise of the inheritance of Islamic culture,absorbed the regional characteristics of Qilu culture moderately,the marriage customs and marriage concept organized by Islamic culture and Qilu culture were formed. People of different generations and gender who live in West of Magai show different attitude towards the ethnic intermarriage,and the factors of each other’s character,parental attitudes, customs, religious beliefs, mate choice scope also effect the marriage choice of the women in the West of Magai Hui village.In addition,the author also describes the intermarriage in the eyes of the “others”,and elaborates the interaction between the intermarriage in West of Magai village and the ethnic relations, and do some thinking on processing the ethnic relations based on the analysis of the intermarriage in the West of Magai Hui village.This research point out that intermarriage and the ethnic relations have the mutual influence and develop mutually.The intermarriage leads to the frequent contacts and deep understanding between nationalities, and reduces the national friction caused by misunderstanding, also, it strengthen the national unity and promoting the harmonious ethnic relations. On the other side, the harmonious ethnic relations can create a good social environment for the intermarriage,also,it helps to increase the promotion of the intermarriage and enhance the ties between the nations,which is conductive to the improvement of Chinese descendants gen.As the ethnic intermarriage can reflect all the relations among nations,we can learn from the principle of dealing with the ethnic problems in daily life through marriage and andle the new changes in ethnic relations in the process of building a well-off society with justice, integrity, moderation, tolerance and understanding, and mutual respect, and consolidate the new socialist ethnic relations which is equality, unity, mutual assistance, harmony, and condensates the power of all the ethnic groups to struggle together to realize the common prosperity of all ethnic groups finally.
