Research On The Intermarriage Of Hui And Han Ethnic Groups In Shuinanguan Village, Henan Province

The study of marriage has always been valued by ethnology and sociology.As an important part of national culture,marriage can clearly reflect the cultural connotation of the nation.As one of the ethnic minorities with a large population and a wide distribution,the Hui nationality has a unique national culture.The study of its marriage will help us deepen our understanding of the Hui culture.As a form of marriage and the product of ethnic exchanges,the intermarriage between ethnic groups has a subtle influence on national culture.Therefore,the study of the intermarriage between ethnic groups is of great significance.Shuinanguan is a village inhabited by pure Hui nationality,located in the northern part of Qinyang city,Henan province.After the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the early Ming Dynasty,the Hui nationality moved to this place.After the reform and opening up,the Hui nationality in Shuinanguan became wealthy with their national economy and collective economy.The rapid economic development and the frequent interactions between the Hui and the Han will provide the possibility of the marriage between the Hui and the Han.Therefore,the research on the Hui nationality in Shuinanguan has a certain representativeness,and it can provide a reference for the study of Hui nationality in scattered and mixed areas to some extent.This paper mainly studies the intermarriage between the Hui and Han nationalities in Shuinanguan.First,by looking up the relevant literature,the paper can perceive the the basic situation of the Hui in Shuinanguan.Second,through the participation observation,questionnaire survey and personal interviews,the Hui nationality in Shuinanguan were investigated on the spot to obtain.Finally,the theories of ethnology,folklore,sociology and other related disciplines are mainly used to analyze the intermarriage between the Hui and Han.This article is divided into six parts.That is,"Introduction","the introduction to the Field investigation sites in Shuinanguan,Qinyang City","The intermarriage circle of the Hui nationality in Shuinanguan","the intermarriage between the Hui and Han in Shuinanguan ","The Marriage Customs Ceremony of intermarriage between the Hui and Han" and "The Influence of intermarriage of the Hui and Han on Hui Culture".The introduction part expounds the reasons,the research status,the ideas and methods of the research,and the innovation and deficiency of this paper.The first chapter mainly introduces the field investigation sites,including the general situation of Qinyang city and Shuinanguan village,the origin and history of the Hui nationality in Shuinanguan,the general situation of economic development,religious beliefs and activities,and so on.The second chapter examines the intermarriage circle of the Hui nationality in Shuinanguan.The author mainly discusses the regional intermarriage scope of the Hui nationality in Shuinanguan from the geographical level.Through questionnaire survey and data analysis,the author concludes that the regional intermarriage scope of the Hui nationality in Shuinanguan is mainly centered in the village,and then extends to the city and outside the city.The third chapter focuses on the current situation of intermarriage of the Hui and Han in Shuinnanguan and analyzes the factors affecting intermarriage.From the current situation of intermarriage in the past five years,it can be seen that the rate of intermarriage of the Hui and Han in Shuinanguan is between 20%and 30%each year.Most intermarriage families live happily,and a small number of intermarriage families are unable to adjust to cultural differences between the Han and Han.Contradictions.The author mainly analyzes the factors that influence the intermarriage of the Hui and Han in Shuinanguan from three aspects:social interaction,family environment and personal factors.The fourth chapter describes and analyzes the intermarriage wedding rituals of the Hui and Han in Shuinanguan.And through the comparative analysis of the wedding rituals of the Hui-Han marriages and intra-ethnic marriages,it is found that:the marriage customs of the Hui marriages are relatively rich in Islamic colors,and the ethnic culture is obvious.The marriage customs of Hui-Han marriages have adopted and adapted more the Han marriage customs on the basis of following the Islamic Shariah.The fifth chapter mainly expounds the influence of the Hui-Han intermarriage on Hui culture,which mainly involves three aspects:the religious belief and ethnic choice of the Hui-Han intermarriage family,the cultural adaptation of intermarriage family and the changes and acculturation of marriage customs.The last part analyzes the adaptation and changes of the Hui culture through the whole discussion of the Hui-Han intermarriage in Shuinnanguan and wedding ceremony,and gives some thought to the existing problems.
