In Malaysia, the Chinese community in one of the three pillars of Chinese society, it and other overseas Chinese communities, as in the colonial period have some government functions, shouldering the ancestral home of cultural development in Southeast Asia and spread, but also to maintain the basic Chinese community operation is the organizational structure of Chinese society, providing the organization and cohesion for diaspora in Southeast Asia to take root and develop its economy.Based on the background of the formation of the Malaysian Chinese community, development, organization, purpose and classification comb, analyzes the influencing factors of Chinese communities in the political, economic, cultural, educational and other aspects of social function and its evolution. This paper argues that, due to the different times with different development opportunities, contemporary Chinese community in Malaysia to better grasp the opportunity to actively adjust the mode of operation of the community, community purposes and other aspects, which entered a new period of great development. Contemporary Chinese Associations Malaysia occur in large changes in the functioning of institutions, the 1980 s and 1990 s, the MCA group by insisting on religious beliefs, adhere to cultural traditions, the development of Chinese education, to carry out a variety of ways the Chinese traditional festival customs activities, to preserve traditional Chinese culture, to better promote the development of Chinese culture in Malaysia. Chinese associations inheritance and development of Chinese culture on the one hand, on the other hand to the native culture as a link, to evoke traditional Chinese culture overseas Chinese approval for the dissemination of Chinese culture in Malaysia’s development has played a positive role.
