Research On The Development Of Literacy Movement Of Chinese Communist Party In Heilongjiang Province And Songjiang Province During 1949-1954

In 1949, the new China was founded, the number of illiteracy is huge, the construction of socialism has been greatly hindered. The Communist Party of China has carried out large-scale literacy campaigns across the country, based on the experience of the era of literacy and the combination of Soviet advanced educational theory. This paper uses a lot of methods to study the literacy movement of the Communist Party of China in Heilongjiang Province and Songjiang Province.The literacy movement of the Communist Party of China in Heilongjiang province and Songjiang Province has its necessity, since it is not only to build socialism but also to meet the people’s subjective aspiration. This paper describes the process of establishing the education policy and the campaign to wipe out illiteracy,the process is divided into three stages, namely preparations for the literacy campaign,the campaign to wipe out illiteracy gradually expanded, the campaign to wipe out illiteracy form the climax. The three stages of the theoretical preparation of the literacy movement in 1949 to 1954, and how to develop into a high tide of various policies, measures, methods, etc., are made in detail. At the same time, the main contents of the literacy movement were introduced, namely the expansion of the teacher team, the preparation of the characteristics of the literacy teaching material,the movement of workers and peasants, and the work of helping the children of workers and peasants. This paper introduces the 1949-1954 years of the Communist Party of China in Heilongjiang Province and Songjiang Province to carry out evaluation of the campaign to wipe out illiteracy and introduces the effectiveness of Heilongjiang Province and Songjiang Province’s wipe out illiteracy campaign,experience, lessons and enlightenment. The effectiveness of the literacy campaign can be divided into three aspects, that is, the construction of socialism laid the foundation,and the people own quality has been improved, the Communist Party’s ruling concept has been accepted by the public. This paper also summarizes the experience and lessons of the campaign for the literacy.
