Research On The Experience Of Chinese Communist Party's Rectification Movement

Whether in the period of revolution,construction,or reform,party building has always been an important magic weapon for the Chinese Communist Party to get great achievements.Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,the CPC Central Committee has always been making continuous efforts to realize the goal of bringing about a moderately prosperous society in all respects,promoting the new great project of party building and the great renewal of the Chinese nation.The Rectification Movement,as an important form of the Communist Party of China to solve the internal problems of the Party and strengthen its own construction,is a scientific method to improve the party's governing ability and maintain the advanced nature and purity of the party.Continuously studying and summarizing the experience of the party's previous rectifications has a very important theoretical and practical significance for continuously deepening the understanding of the party's ruling regulation,better adhering to and strengthening the party's leadership in the new era,and advancing the construction of the“Four Great”.The study is based on the current practice of the Chinese Communist Party in constantly strengthening its own construction,and on the basis of drawing on domestic and foreign research results to explore the successful experience of the rectification movement.First of all,it has combed several significant rectification campaigns in the history of the Communist Party of China and has divided the stages: the rectification movement before the founding of the PRC,the rectification movement during the socialist exploration period,and the rectification movement since the reform and opening up.Second,it's analyzed the main features of the previous rectification movement from the aspects of the purpose,the form and the effect.On this basis,it is concluded that the nature of the rectification movement is the main form of party building and should not become a political movement.The valuable experience that the rectification movement has brought us is summarized,including the rectification movement should be guided by the party's innovative theory and new ideology,focus on the central task of the party,carry out timely and effective criticism and self-criticism,adhere to the mass line,and accept the supervision of the masses.Finally,through the analysis of the problems encountered in past rectification movements and summing up experiences,theimplications for the development of relevant activities in the future is proposed.That is,the rectification movement(activities)must be carried out periodically to achieve the goal of “not forgetting the initial heart and keeping in mind the mission”.To improve the construction of democracy within the party,we must firmly grasp the mass line,and do a good job of the“minority of the key”.
