Study Of University Students’ Identify Of The Socialist Core Value

The socialist core value is the summary of socialist core value system in the new period. It is a flag of Chinese road, Chinese spirit, and Chinese power. It is a value coordinate to realize Chinese great rejuvenation as well. University students are the precious talent resources, the hope of the nation, are the main drive force in the process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. University students’ identity of socialist core values is related to the fate and the future of the national development.Consulting a large number of literatures at home and abroad, the author found that the university students’ identity of socialist core values on empirical studies have got tremendous achievements on both quantity and quality, but it still has large development space. Firstly, the essential theoretical foundation of the socialist core values is relatively weak, for some basic concepts such as "identity", "agreement", are still not clear. Secondly,the university students’ identity of socialist core values on empirical study is just some studies that they analyze things from a unitary perspective. The study for different views and different types of students is not enough. Thirdly, most scholars made the questionnaires according to one or some universities, the data reflect the identity of socialist core values for the whole students groups. They neglect the differences between the Han nationality and the minority nationality in ethnic mimority area.This study uses both theoretical analysis and case analysis to discourse the issue. The author hands out the questionnaire of socialist core values in three universities in Hohhot,and process data with EXCEL. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part introduced purpose and significance of the subject, research situation at home and abroad and methods the paper adopted. The second part is characteristics of "identity", "agreement". These can provide theoretical groundwork for later empirical investigation,analysis and countermeasures study. The third part,describes the identity characteristics of university students’ socialist core values. The fourth part, analyzes the reasons. At last, according to the causes of the problem, the author makes some practical suggestions. In the process of ideological and political education, we should advocate the socialist core value system to guide and educate students, with the universities’ educational function, the government’s management functions, as well as college students’ self-discipline to improve the university students’ identity of socialist core values.
