Study Of The Relations Between The Socialist Parties In Eastern European Countries And Socialist International (SI) After The Dramatic Changes

The Socialist Party (including the socialist party, the social democratic Party, this paper referred to as the " socialist party ") is a main body of socialist forces in Eastern European countries after the dramatic changes, playing an important role in the political, economic and social transformation and development. The evolution of the socialist parties in Eastern European countries is influenced by history and reality, the internal and external factors, among which Socialist International (SI) is one of the important external affecting factors. With more than 20 years in the past, the relations between the socialist parties in Eastern European countries and Socialist International have experienced four periods, namely:Contact, Integration, Honeymoon and Normality. By means of guiding ideology, passing on experience, setting up good examples and supporting developments, Socialist International exerts a significant effect on the socialist parties in Eastern European countries. This topic combs the evolution of the relations between the socialist parties in Eastern European countries and Socialist International systematically since the upheaval, and analyzes the main factors of influencing the development of the relationship between the two, and then discusses the influence of SI to the main contents,ways and features of the socialist parties in Eastern European countries.This study not only help us further understanding and grasping the development situation of socialist forces and the party politics in Eastern European countries, but also sight important practical significance on the development of inter party relations and national relations between our country and the Eastern European countries.The article consists of five parts. The first part is an introduction, which defines several relevant concepts. Furthermore, it mainly throws light on purpose and the significance, research status of domestic and foreign, research ideas and methods, innovations and shortcomings. The second part elaborates on the progress of the relations between SI and the socialist parties in Eastern European countries. The third part analyzes factors of influencing their relations, which contain the consideration of ideology, respective development and interest appeal, and worldwide environment changes. The fourth part mainly analyzes the influence to the socialist parties in Eastern European countries from SI, presenting the content, ways and features of the influence. The fifth part is the conclusion, summarizing the full thesis.The thesis hold the view that SI has played an active role in the development of the socialist parties in Eastern European countries. Speaking of the future of the socialist parties in Eastern European countries, it depends on the adaptability of themselves.
