Ideological And Political Education Study On Commercial Bank Staff

As the development of social economy, the competition of banking has been fierce. Since Chinese economic reform up to today, Chinese commercial banking has gone through the socialistic financial system that the commercial banks working as business entities under the leadership of Chinese central bank, the separation of political business and commercial business in 1990 s, and shareholding system reform of state-owned banks. Right after China was a part of WTO, the foreign banks entered China and caused pressures of Chinese banks in competition, the staff are suffering from extreme pressures arising out of the similar products of commercial banks. Therefore the ideological and political education of the staff has been highly valued and worth being investigated. What is more, there are plenty of corruption cases happened in Chinese commercial banking, and the proportion of Non-Performing Loans has been climbing up. In a sense, even though ideological and political education was applied to all the staffs systematically in Chinese Commercial Banking, there are still problems with commercial bank staffs as follows: unreliable ideal and faith, mercenary motives, weak sense of teamwork, poor professional ethics, hence commercial banks are still facing the ethical risks.The writer has made a thorough investigation on the basis of her own views and other opinions from many commercial bank staffs, by means of reference, classification, summarizing of the overseas and domestic materials, and applications of interview method, observation method and comparative method, and indicated the deficiencies in contents, methods, team building of ideological and political education of the commercial bank staffs and gave reasons by means of investigations of external environment, internal environment, quality of staffs, what is more, the measures are taken to increase the ideological and political education of staffs as follows: enriching the contents of ideological and political education by means of rich culture creation, risk protection system improvement as well as business scope development; perfecting ideological and political education system by means of improvement of party’s organizition, work performance system and internal management system; innovating forms of ideological and political education by means of combination of “measures as appropriate” and “education as appropriate”, widespread application of network, and targeted activities, establishing classy team and methods, updating contents and synchronizing it with society, providing targeted activity forms in order to let staffs learn more professional knowledge on their own initiative and to improve the work performance and to maximize the effects of ideological and political education.
