Model Shaping In Political Mobilization

From the revolutionary war period to the period of reform and opening-up, all kinds of political movements and the political mobilization run through the course of establishment and development of CCP, lots of models were set up and in the service of different political purposes in different time. Model shaping and political mobilization are the method of the party and the government to do social governance, expand people’s political participation and strengthen political identification, model shaping can be regarded as one of the important techniques of political mobilization of CCP. This article attempts to take the political model “Xing Yanzi” of the movement of educated youth to go and work in the countryside or mountain areas as an example,on the basis of analyzing the background of the age in which “Xing Yanzi” lived and her labor model characteristics, givies a detailed description of the model shaping process of “Xing Yanzi” including discovery, confirmation, cultivation and propaganda, and then discusses the relationship between model shaping and political mobilization, and analyzes the unique advantages and difficulties of the model shaping as a technique of political mobilization.This paper’s main body is divided into the following five parts:The first part is about the model of the CCP’s political mobilization in each period, including the revolutionary war period, the period before the reform and opening-up, and the period after the reform and opening-up. This part tries to draw a viewpoint that the use of the technique of model shaping in various political movements which CCP launched is very common by describing a large number of the phenomenon of “model shaping” in CCP’s political mobilization.The second part summarizes about the historical background and model’s characteristics of the selected case of “Xing Yanzi”, aiming to explain the reasons why “Xing Yanzi” shaped as a model: On the one hand, for the need of social governance of the political authority through the political mobilization; On the other hand, Xing Yanzi’s own characteristics satisfied the standards of a political model.The third part is deeply excavating and reducing the process of shaping “Xing Yanzi” including discovery, confirmation, cultivation and propaganda, trying to abstract the general form of model shaping and doing matting for the later discussion.The fourth part takes the shaping of educated youth model “Xing Yanzi”and the political mobilization of the movement of educated youth to go and work in the countryside or mountain areas as an example to explain the value and function of model shaping in the CCP’s political mobilization, by means of analyzing that the model shaping as a technique of political mobilization can make the issue of political mobilization sanctification, dramatization and secularization, then strengthen the political communication of the subject and object of political mobilization.The final conclusion part briefly discusses the advantages of the model shaping in political mobilization and its dilemmas.
