Research On Chinese Aid Model To Africa

Chinese aid towards to Africa had lasted over 60 years, and it has made a big success. These aids helped a lot of African countries to get independent and to be a freedom country. Chinese work has made great progress on the economic development and has improved the life of people in Africa. All these decisions to aid Africa, depends on Chinese go out policy. It helped China to build a figure of “responsible power”. Depend on independent diplomatic maneuvers, Chinese aids towards Africa has used some theory and method different to the traditional aid power in the western country, made a special “Chinese model”. Objectively evaluate the “Chinese model” will enrich the frame of aid theory, and made aids work toward to Africa become more efficiently, and it would help clear about some misunderstanding on the Chinese Aid programs. Due to complicacy with Chinese aids’ documents, this paper chooses Tanzania as a sample of Chinese aid, from the sample I would try to find out the details and the feature of Chinese aid to Africa. This paper has four chapters; the second chapter has combined some related policy rules and news, and try to analyze that connotation of “China model” in Africa. I would emphasize that “Chinese model” is depending on the basic of equality and mutual benefit. Consultation on the basis of quality and try to help African countries make a long term development. As the standard of Chinese Aid white book, this paper introduced Chinese aid model from financial aid and program aid, the related examples would be based on Tanzania. The third chapter analyzed the three stage of Chinese aids model in Africa, choose Tanzam railway and, Tanzania friendly textile mill and Tanzania gas integration engineering program as aid samples, and try to figure it out the difference in Chinese aid towards Africa in different historical periods. The forth chapter depends on Chinese aid practice, and attempt to analyze characteristic of Chinese aid to Africa. The key point is on how does China aid African countries. In this paper, I thought Chinese aid to Africa is a government leading, and the other department cooperates to the government. Chinese aid target for the develop of African countries’ development ability. And it has combined with Chinese own experiences of development, and it has made the aid program to be efficient. The fifth chapter are about the evaluate of Chinese aids’ availability and the prospect possibility. On the one side, took Tanzania as a sample, compare the difference between Chinese aid and the traditional aid power in western countries, and attempt to evaluate Chinese aids’ availability. On the other side, depends on the problems had already appeared in Chinese aid programs, and the censure on Chinese aid program from other countries, try to find some possibilities to perfection Chinese aid model in Africa.
