Anti-corruption through Internet is that someone who grasps the corrupt information puts it on the Internet. And with the help of opinion leaders, the other netizens and some commercial websites, the relevant information could spread constantly. And on the basis of its growing influence, it will form the public opinion on the Internet and then the official group will intervene the case, importantly, they would investigate the case deeply and publish the result timely. Moreover, the public will supervise the official continuously. In fact, the process of citizens’anti-corruption through Internet can be divided into four consecutive steps: publish the corrupt information, manufacture public opinion, intervened by the official group, and supervised by the public. Among them, publishing the corrupt information is the first step, manufacturing public opinion is the key point, intervened by the official group could solve the case and supervised by the public may guarantee the success of anti-corruption through Internet. Those four steps interact each other and have the important relations among them. In detail, if someone dose not put the relevant information on the Internet, nobody will know the case, the public opinion will not be manufactured and the official will not intervene into the case.By analyzing the process of citizens’anti-corruption through Internet, it is a double-edged sword. It may be good for solving some corrupt cases, but it will also bring some unstable factors into our society. Meanwhile, because of some external surroundings, the further development of citizens’anti-corruption through Internet may face some opportunities and threats. Therefore, in the practice of anti-corruption through Internet, our Party and government should take some corresponding measures according to the characteristics of different stages in the process of citizens’anti-corruption through Internet. In the stage of publishing the corrupt information, the official group should initiatively strive to seize the related information on corruption on the Internet. In the stage of manufacturing public opinion, the official should take investigation into the case at the first time and announce the survey results timely. In the stage of the official intervention, they should actively, seriously investigate and deal with the related events, and at the sane time, they should timely respond to different demands among netizens. In the finial stage, the official should actively answer netizens’questions. If they find that someone dose exist shielding action in the process of the investigation, they should punish him seriously. Only in those ways, can citizens’ anti-corruption through Internet play a real role.
