Research On The Sustainable Development Of The Mass Organization With Chinese Characteristics

In China, mass work is a regular, basic work of the ruling party in governing and administration. In the last centuries of reform and development, mass organization has basically covered all the interests of the related groups, which is a significant factor for the sustainable development of politics, economics and social comprehensive coordination in China. Along with the further promotion of reform and the speeded-up transformation of government functions, the internal and external environment of mass organization has changed a lot which leads to unprecedented challenges for its development. Hence, it shows great importance to study the sustainable development of mass organization.Starting with the current difficulties and problems encountered in the development stages of mass organization, using the methods of literature research, theoretical analysis and case study, carrying out the researchs on the concepts of the Non-profit Organizations, and its other related concepts, and on the development of the mass organizations, combining with the administrative performance functions and social functions in practice of the Alumni Association of the Huangpu Military Academy, this paper has discussed the sustainable development path for the mass organization with Chinese characteristics, and provided reference for defining policies and measures.This paper is organized based on the process of "query, analysis and solution". First of all, introduce the purpose and meaning of the selected topic through illustrating the impact and problems brought from social reforms and other various factors to the development of mass organization. Secondly, present theories for theoretical basis for this study through combing the theory and concepts of the Non-profit Organizations, sustainable development, mass organization and so on. Thirdly, enumerate quires through the study and description of development of mass organization and the Alumni Association of the Huangpu Military Academy. Fourthly, analyze problems which constrain the sustainable development of mass organization from different perspectives such as political environment, the public opinion and so on. Fifthly, propose solutions and suggestions for the sustainable development of mass organization under new situations based on the analysis of various restraining factors. Finally, summarize and state the insufficiencies.The innovation of this paper is the setting of the Alumni Association of the Huangpu Military Academy, which have been barely involved in any other studies, as the research object. It analyzes the existing problems and restraining factors from the perspective of mass organization, attempts to explore a sustainable development path both respects the special national conditions of our country, and follows the general principles of community development. Hence, it can not only meet the expectations of the party and the government, but also represent and maintain the Huangpu Military Academy’interests.
