With the development of China’s reform and opening up, the middle class has gradually become a new force in China’s society. They are growing as an important social class to lead the social values. At present, the research of the middle class in China is mainly concentrated in two aspects:first, to determine the composition and proportion of qualitative research, and the study of its political function should be explored. The former conclusion is that the number of middle class in the big cities and the proportion is still a minority, which is currently divided into three perspectives:the middle class as the social stability, subversion and alienation. In the research of the political function of the middle class, it is concerned with the behavior of political attitude and political participation. Some scholars believe that the political attitude of the middle class in our country is rational and the level of the political participation behavior and the channel are trapped in the existing system and the middle class ideology. But the existing research is targeted at the local area of the middle class people, and the study of the content of the political attitude or political participation in a single dimension of the investigation, the lack of change in the status of the middle class, political attitude and political participation. This article through the cgss2010 data to explore the social status of the middle class, political attitude and political participation in the three. Through the analysis, we can get the following conclusions:first, the social status of the middle class in China has a significant impact on the political attitude and political participation. Second, the political attitude of the middle class in China has a significant effect on the political participation. Third, the social status of the middle class in our country through the political attitude of the political participation. In the present social environment, the Chinese middle class still plays a "stabilizer", but has the tendency to develop the "alienation". The political attitude and political participation degree is low. Therefore, we need our government to take more measures to broaden the channels of political participation, strengthen the political efficacy and political participation, and promote the development of China’s democratic politics.
