Analysis Of The Solutions For Denuclearization Of The Korean Peninsula

On 6th of January 2016, North Korea performed its 4th nuclear experiment. This act threatens the security of North-east Asia as well as the rest of the World.First, it creates tension among countries. Second, it increases the possibility of causing earthquakes, the effects of which would be disaster were one to occur at a Nuclear Weapon Facility area. One need only study the consequences of the earthq uake which occurred at the nuclear plant area in Fukusima, Japan in 2011. This are a remains strictly restricts to access. This is reminiscent of the nuclear plant acci dent in Chernobyl in the former Soviet Union.Third, the possibility of Changbai Shan/Baekdusan erupting is increased by this kind of nuclear experiment. Fourth, nuclear testing pollutes the environment, which is important to human beings because it influences physical and mental health. Fifth, there were some terrorists who tried to obtain nuclear material. Some terrorists do not hesitate to perpetuate terror throughout the world through suicide bombings and attacks, one of the most horrible cases being 911 in the USA. Recently the world als o experienced terror in Brussels near the European Union headquarters by terrorists whose aims also including obtaining nuclear substance.For these reasons, it is important to support nuclear weapon non-proliferation and to take measures to ensure that HEU’s are no longer produced in any country.Taking into account the entire above, one of most important priorities is to resolve the North Korea Nuclear Weapon Issue. In the past, although international societies made an effort, they still could not resolve it.There are three questions this thesis aims to answer. First, what did international societies do to solve the problem in the past? Second, even if many countries have tried to resolve the matter, why has it still not been figured out? Third, what is the solution for future? The most important purpose of this thesis is finding future solutions. To uncover valuable solutions based in reality, it is meaningful to analyze the Iran Nuclear Deal from July 2015. This deal resulted in positive outcomes whose consequences reach all around world. Therefore, this thesis discusses the results of the US-IRAN Nuclear Deal and provides an analysis of the future solutions for the Korean Peninsula Denuclearization.It focuses on the importance of the Iran Deal, the kind of benefits it brings to Iran and the rest of world, what we can learn from the agreement, and how knowledge about the Iran Deal can contribute to resolve the North Korea Issue.However, the issue in reality is highly volatile and very unpredictable. Access to information is also highly limited and it is difficult to discern the meaning of real actions in world politics. This thesis is based on observers’ perspectives about the issue as it relateds to world politics.
