Study On Mao Zedong’s National Thoughtin The Early Days Of PRC

Mao Zedong’s national thought in the early days of the founding of the PRC is the result of the interaction between the Marxism national theory and China’s national conditions,which is the guiding ideology of the Communist Party of China to carry out ethnic work and solve the ethnic issues and the basis of the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,to study Mao Zedong’s national thought in the early period PRC have great theoretical significance and practical significance.First of this paper expounds the theoretical origin and practical background of Mao Zedong’s national thought.The second part discusses the main content of Mao Zedong’s national ideology,work methods and ideological characteristics. Firstly,the main content of Mao Zedong’s national thought include ethnic equality,national unity, the development of ethnic minorities, regional autonomy of ethnic minorities and training of minority cadres.Then,the methods include seeking truth from facts for ethnic work,doing ethnic work with the cautious attitude,avoiding ethnic conflicts through the national examination,solving the problem of nationalities by discussing.Lastly,the characteristics of Mao Zedong’s national thought include the combination of strategy and method and the combination of ideology and practice. The third part discusses the theoretical and practical significance of Mao Zedong’s national thought.
