With the rapid development of modernization and urbanization, the technology and management methods of western industrial society have been brought to people. At the same time, The demand for labor force has also spawned a large number of foreign population. Migrant workers occupy a large proportion of them. While enjoying the social wealth created by the cheap labor force of migrant workers, the city also has been plagued by the increasing crime rate of them. Migrant workers as a new group from other places in the city, from a familiar world entered a totally strange one., Such kind of change made them produce anxiety, meanwhile they also began to long for the future,.As the thinking pattern changed, behavior structure and meanings of context gradually went away from the value of the original places of residence. During the constant groping and adaptation, some of them have been occupied by the dissatisfaction and relative deprivation, and the risk of their strong anti-social emotion is greatly increased.The theory of crime occurrence interpreted by conflict theory scholars is close to cultural conflict theory, which believes that the goals and values shared by all the members and society do not exist, and the real situation is that the members in the upper class that have power comply different values with the members at the bottom. So the social rules and laws formulated by the group that have power sometimes will increase crime. Due to the different standard of evaluation, the same behavior in different groups always has different quality.The advantage of the number and range of influence could effectively make some strong subcultural groups delimitate the subcultural group who are in the weak position in the scope of crime by means of their own culture standard, In the study of the mainstream culture and the issue of comtemporary crime of migrant workers, the statement of the crime relativity by culture conflict theory is an important theoreticalreason.According to culture conflict theory, the reason why some behavior of migrant workers is defined as crime is that their beliefs, values and behavior go against the benefit and mainstream culture controlled by dominant class,however the subordinate class to some degree means being evaluated, being defined and being pubnished. Facing the mainstream culture, subculture of peasant workers is just in such a position. The number of migrant workers swarming into the city and urban heterogeneity took on a substantial increase of direct proportion, which caused the culture value. idea,behavior and moral standard of some migrant workers went even more seriously against those of the mainstream society, therefore, some conflict were on the verge of breaking out, The family or community saying, customs and behavior, not accepted by the mainstream society but accustomed by migrant workers, were becoming obstacles during the process when migrant workers adapted to city life.And this slowed down the course of their integration into urban mainstream culture, emphasizing the respect of cultural diversity, recognition of crime relativity and cultural conflict theory,telling us that in the course of constructing mainstream culture, knowing and respecting multiculture is a significant link, which revealed in the issue of contemporary migrant workers’ crime was that such kind of group who were in a weak position in society should be concerned about. Economic help was essential, meanwhile care and support in their life and emotion were also important for them. For casually labeling crime on them or taking indifferent attitude to them or discriminating, all of these could not be tolerated. In summary, discussing and analyzing the issues of crime of contemporary migrant workers from the scope of culture conflict were of both great theoretical and practical importance. Considering this, this thesis will think from the perspective of culture conflict. The writer has visited the Wuwei County and Wuhu Yijiang District guard and interviewed 183 migrant workers by means of investigation and interview, and then inspected and analyzed in detail aiming at the rough sketch, features and causes of the crime of contemporary migrant workers, and finally suggest that such kind of crime should be prevented and controlled from the perspective of reinforcing cultural fusion.
