Chantal Mouffe is the earlist one who bring the thought of Wittgenstein into the discussion of radical democracy. "Articulation" is the most famous concept of Post-Marxism while Mouffe was inspired by Wittgenstein’s "Philosophy Research". In the several years after the creation of the representative work "Hegemony and Socialist Strategy", Mouffe spoke highly of Wittgenstein in the "Wittgenstein, political theory and democracy". And she said Wittgenstein "pointing to a new way of theorizing about the political, one that breaks with the universalizing an homogenizing mode that has informed most of liberal theory since Hobbes"And this article is mainly at three angles of view, which are "from history to reality", "from philosophy to politics" and " from theory to practice", to re-examine the value and significance of the Mouffe’s democratic theory. Only the Articulation of the history and reality, Articulation of philosophy and political, and the Articulation of the theory and practice can make us approach Mouffe in a practical and realistic style. So this article contains three parts. At the first part, We will think about rise of post-Marxism theory and the fall of traditional Marxism. At the 2th part, we will start with the Mouffe’s analysis of late Wittgenstein’s philosophy to analyze radical democratic Conception in the post- Marxism of Mouffe’s. At the 3rd part, we will will further interpret her political theory,re-evaluate the significance of the radical democratic theory, and make theoretical knowledge into the wisdom of the construction of socialist democracy. At last, we will point out the defects of her political theories and try to think about whether radical democracy can bring the real changes to the society.
