Research On The Joint Development Of Charity Model Undertakings In Chengdu

2008 is a turning point in the history of charity in China, the occurrence of the earthquake in WenChuan has aroused the enthusiasm of Chinese for the charity. In order to promote the development of charity and regulate the orderly participation of charitable organizations in China, the Ministry of Civil Affairs issued the China Charity Development Program (2011-2015)and The Five Twelfth Year Plan for the Development of Civil Affairs. It is clearly points out that charity is an important part of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics and social security system. Accelerating the development of charity has very important influence on many aspects. It is necessary to adjust the social interest, to improve the civil awareness of social responsibility, to create a good social atmosphere, to promote the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, to enhance national cohesion.Due to the influence of the WenChuan earthquake, the continuous influx of various social organizations, the introduction of various kinds of advanced charitable ideas, making the development of charity in Chengdu very rapid. Chengdu charity has combined with local characteristics, developed a set of joint development of charity model. This model breaks the traditional charity development model. In this model the government does as a guide, Chengdu Charity Federation to undertake, the four information platforms for the support of the three structure system, it is better dealing with the relationship between the various subjects.Paper first reviewed the relevant literature, defined the related charity concepts, charity, charity development model. Reviewing the existing research and further pointing out the value of this research.Secondly, after analyzing China’s current charity development problems, I reviews the process and the development of Chengdu joint charity model. Then I discussed how it to be proposed and its realistic basis.Combined with Sun Happy Homes and the First Charity exchanges meeting, I analyzed from the cooperation of relationship between the model, model content and configuration module, development environment to conclude the model.Thirdly, through the comparative study, I analyzed the folk-oriented model, civil and government cooperation model, government-oriented model of similarities and differences. Finding that the joint development model has the advantage of risk-averse; pluralistic financing; diverse channels; cooperation with the community, understand the needs of the audience compared with other models.Finally, in the process of interviewing, I find that there are also government coordination difficulties; assessing systems are imperfect; propaganda is not enough. Then I suggest to establish a special department, a dynamic star management evaluation system and promote cooperation with the community for improvement. Lastly after analyzing the possibility and difficulties of promotion, I prospect of its future development trends to expect for the future development of charity to make a useful contribution.
