Research On The Ideological Security In Border Ethnic Regions

The ideological security in border ethnic regions is an important part of the national ideological security system in our country. Because the regional specialty, cultural diversity and uniqueness, and economic imbalance in border ethnic regions, safeguarding the ideological security in border ethnic regions has certain difficulty and there are a lot of problems at the same time. Therefore, it is an urgent and important task to carry out the study on the ideological security in border ethnic regions and give the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. Based on the overview on the status quo of the ideological security in border ethnic regions, we put forward the general idea and basic principle of safeguarding the ideological security in border ethnic regions through the analysis of existing problems and restricting factors. This thesis is divided into five parts:the first part is preface. This part mainly introduces the background and significance of this study, and summarizes the research status at home and abroad, and illustrates the research content, research methods and the innovation points and deficiencies of this thesis. The second part is the definition of the relevant concepts and the explanation of the theoretical basis in this study. The concepts of border ethnic regions, ideology and ideological security are defined, and then the theories of ideological security and cultural security are explained. In the third part, the status quo and existing problems of the ideological security in border ethnic regions are analyzed. The keys to the problem of the ideological security in border ethnic regions are fully grasped through the summary and analysis of the status quo and basic feature of the ideological security in border ethnic regions. In the fourth part, the restricting factors of the ideological security in border ethnic regions at home and abroad are analyzed. This part lays the foundation for the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions through the analysis of the restricting factors at home and abroad. In the fifth part, the countermeasures and suggestions to safeguard the ideological security in border ethnic regions are put forward. Based on the analysis and overview of the ideological security in border ethnic regions, six specific countermeasures and suggestions are put forward as follows: strengthening and improving the Party’s leadership, development to promote ideological security, innovation ideology, strengthening the ideology security awareness, transforming government functions and improve the international environment. These countermeasures and suggestions have feasibility and operability.
