Chinese society is facing the hard time of reform, which is marked by many challenges such as the rich-poor gap and conflicts of different interests. Therefore, the freedom and equality has become the common voice of the whole society. As a socialist country that is directed by Marxism, China needs to find the theoretical support to solve the practical challenges, and the view of equality in Anti-Dühring by Engels is quite valuable for solving Chinese contemporary in equality.Engels’ view on equality came from the points made by the traditional western philosophers, the recent Capitalist Class philosophers and some thinkers after the Enlightenment. It also came from Engels’ own experience and the society which he lived in. After criticizing Dühring transcendental idealism and to the view of equality, and analyzing the ancient view of equality and view of equality came from the Christianity and Feudal Society, Engels pointed out that the view of equality is naturally connected with inequality and becomes the view of history of different times. To be specific, Engels wants to criticized view of equality then to all inequality in the Capitalist Society and to establish the view of equality of proletariat。Engels’ thought of equality came from the economic foundation of the society, criticized the Hypocrisy of the capitalist equality. It emphasized the real equality, which has both important theoretical and social value in current society. The paper analyzed the view of view of equality in Anti-Dühring by Engels, and criticized the universal value by the Methodology fromAnti-Dühring. Facing the inequality in the period of social transition in China, the paper wants to find the theoretical evidences for the establishment of the view of equality in socialist society directed by the view of equality of Engels.
