The Situation Of A Social Organization Severing The LGBT

The research on social organization and sexual minorities has always been a hot topic in China. As a grassroots social organizations, the social organization severing the LGBT plays a big role in the AIDS prevention and control, social support network construction, expansion of resources, life rights and so on. It has made its own contribution to the development of national politics, society and so on. However, at present, the research on the development of the social organization severing the LGBT is almost zero.This study is qualitative research about the status of the social organization severing the LGBT. The author interviews S organization founder, and regions responsible for people, service object, to collect first-hand information. By using the social system theory, I study the development of the social organization severing the LGBT from the aspects of the internal operation system, the external environment system.The study find that internal system construction of the social organization severing the LGBT is more perfect. It has formed the organizational structure, the practical experience of organization system, and diversity of human structure and recruitment methods, diversified financing channels and organize the publicity mode and realize the characteristics of the service organization. And the external environment system also provides a relatively effective support, including indirect policy support and a number of cooperative units support.A further study find the social organization severing the LGBT has encountered some difficulties in the development. In the external environment, the challenge is social policy and institutional support for sexual minorities service organization is not enough, do not have a high degree of identity of minority groups and organizations from the public, the environment of public opinion pressure is relatively large, financing environment narrow, application project income funding amount is very limited. In a series of problems existing in the internal organization system, including organization structure is not perfect, the implementation of the system is not in place, service among the areas is uneven, professional career low, organization, management and service ability is limited etc.. These difficulties and challenges of the social organization severing the LGBT is caused by many factors, and further dissection and analysis is required.Finally, in view of these difficulties and challenges, the author puts forward suggestions, including the perfect organization legislation and policy, improve the social identity and support strength and other external systems, and strengthen the organization’s own construction and other internal systems. Only with these measures taken, the social organization severing the LGBT can obtain the required policy, talent, capital and other conditions to solve a series of difficulties and challenges encountered in the development process and to better achieve the leap and development of the organization.
