This paper attempts to analyze the path of peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula and its impact on China. As the adjacent country of the Korean Peninsula, its political and economic development is deeply influenced by the situation of the Korean Peninsula. However, the Cold War confrontation on the Korean peninsula is still exists, the nuclear issue makes the security crisis occurs frequently, to achieve lasting peace and stability in the Korean peninsula, it is necessary to achieve peaceful reunification. In the long term, the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula is the most likely scenario and the ideal state of the Korean Peninsula in the future. There are many paths to achieve the ideal state, for example the south Korea’s national community scheme, North Korea has also advocated a unified federal formula, in addition to absorbing a unified Germany is the peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula can refer to. South Korea’s national community scheme adhere to the state prior to the establishment of social community, through peaceful community, economic community and national community to complete the national unity, it is institutional unity in nature. North korea consider the model as a subversion of its political system due to American influence and inter Korean strength contrast,it is not realistic to talk. North korea adheres to the "Korea Federal Democratic Republic" model, that is to realize the unification of "a nation, a country, two systems, two governments", which is a federal unified model in nature. As for the German absorption model, because the inter Korean economic and political strength contrast, is actually led by South Korea. what model will the Korean Peninsula choose, how to promote these models and and what role will the korea peninsula, these problems are not only related to the two Koreas, but also closely related to China. The path of the Korean Peninsula peaceful reunification is different, the impact on China is not the same, this paper mainly analyze the impact from the political and economic aspects. Politically, for the Korea-led unification,China needs to anticipate the possibility of military pressure from America; for North Korea’s federal style uniform, China needs to think how to eliminate the DPRK’s nuclear force. For these problems, on the one hand,China needs to sanction against North Korea’s nuclear weapons rationally and strike North Korea’s capability of development nuclear weapons, to reconstruct the denuclearization of the China-DPRK relations.while not push the North Korea towards the opposite side of China; on the other hand, China need to strengthen coordination and cooperation in the field of security with South Korea and ensure the healthy and stable development of China-South Korea relations, to reduce the negative impact the United States for the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula to a minimum. Economically, China should resolve the economic contradictions with unified country and promote openness and the development of it, to build a solid and mutual benefits economic cooperation system in Northeast Asia. In general, the independent and peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula conforms to China’s strategic interests, China has always supported the advancement of the independent and peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula, but not interfere its specific patterns.
