Korea is a country that has long unified history. After" the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895", Korea became the colony of Japan gradually. After the World War II, Korean peninsula got rid of the colonial rule of Japan finally. But because of intervention, cold war's forming and function of the factor inside the Korean peninsula of pattern of America and Soviet Union, Korean peninsula was split into two countries. At the end of the 20th century, collapse of cold war's system for nearly half a century has a far-reaching impact on whole international political system, Korean peninsula's outpost position of confrontation of cold war influences deeply even more as America and Soviet Union. This dissertation aims at complying with tide of history that relaxes, beginning to write from Korean peninsula forming and development of issue, to study among peaceful reunification process of Korean peninsula, peninsula factor and outside powers factor which hand in and move each other to influence on peaceful reunification process of peninsula. The dissertation divides into four parts altogether:The first part: Korean peninsula issue's genesis and evolution. The part analyzes Korean peninsula forming reason of issue in terms of history. Peninsula issue's forming has inside function of factors: various political parties inside Korea and different political views, receiving external factors -especially big countries' influence even more, production of issue peninsula's is under historical prerequisite of World War II, two powers meddle in, intervened but takes shape by America and Soviet Union. After this, outburst of Korean War make Korea split into two countries. By the look of forming process, there is a remarkable trait, that is, powers' key impact on reunification process. The powers' leading situation lasts quite a long time. In Korean peninsula's issue development, the relaxation of the times impels the peaceful reunification in Korean peninsula to be brought into schedule. Under international political great environment that relaxes generally, North and South of Korea and adjacent powers, move towards relaxing gradually too, which creates a good inside, external environment condition for peaceful reunification of Korean peninsula.Second part: Inside reason of peaceful reunification process of Korean peninsula. This part observes Korean peninsula favorable factors and unfavorable factors of peaceful reunification from inside mainly. By the look of both sides of north and south of peninsula, there are one's own unified policies each. Through development of times, there are many changes very too. From South Korea's Syngman Rhee government's "march North for unification" to Kim Dae-jung administration's" unify three stages' theory" of government, south Korea's own unified policy has heavy change. In political situation relatively stable Korea, its unified policy has heavy difference too, from Jim Il-sung's "Democratic Front for the Fatherland's unification" to Jim Jong-il's policy toward the South Korea and unification. Seen from analysis of the above, there are promoted unified favorable factors on the process. For example, Korea has unified history as a homogeneous nation of nearly five millennia and has a homogeneous culture, has the. characteristics that complementeconomically; Meantime, there are unified unfavorable factors, for instance, completely different social system and ideology system, north and south of both sides disparity of economic strength, each inside group interests doctrine and regional difference of doctrine, which hinder further development of the process.The third part: powers concerned have a great influence on the Korean peninsula's unification. The part demonstrates mainly favorable and unfavorable factors on the unification process from surrounding environment of Korean peninsula and external factor view.
