Household And Government:the Selection And The Change Of Farmers’ Economic Conduct

This article attempts to take the history of a commercial household in Northwest of Zhejiang Province as an example, and try to analyze the farmers’ economic conduct in different times on the basis of describing the relationship between the government and key members of the family. Xiuhua village of Zhejiang Province is currently under the urbanization wave, the relationship between the government and the farmers’economic conduct has been developing during such a long time——from the traditional period to the transition period, but how it was built? Whether the change of this relationship carries consequences for the farmer’s economic behavior? Then in what ways and how much does it work? This article try to analyze the characteristics and evolution of the logic relation between nation and household under different times.In this paper, with"the introduction of case/analysis-describing process-come to the conclusion"as a train of thought, a total of six chapters content is designed. The first chapter is an Introduction, the main research questions, specific research content and the family background is presented. The second chapter to the fifth chapter is the main part of the article with the method of diachronic and narrative, analyze the change of the relationship of each period, as well as the economic behavior selection mechanism under the influence of different relationships. The second chapter describes traditional agricultural period before liberation,taxes and economic disputes was the intervention of state power area; The third chapter describes farmers’ production, life and decision-making behavior under the collective distribution system; The fourth chapter focuses on the expansion period of market economy, with the support of the government industry adjustment and corresponding policy, farmers began emerging industries such as transportation,white tea planting and selling; The fifth chapter is highlighted in recent years——the local government authority period, the local government exert direct influence to the economic interests of the household, and a direct conflict rise with the family began maintaining their rights and interests. Historically,compared with the previous three periods, in recent years, with the village economic transition and economic development, the political and social consequences of externalities appears, the the relationship between the local government and the household has changed significantly, mainly shows up in two aspects:Firstly, the family relationship with the government on economic behavior is mainly built from the national level to the local government level; secondly, the power influence on farmers’ economic behavior from the production behavior into the means of production(land).
