The increasing number of online games, the number of online users increase, online games market increasingly large scale. The game industry has become the modern Internet B2C one of the three pillar industries, has formed a huge consumer market. However, the Internet is a double-edged sword, and online games around the world at the same time, the online game plug-in is as the shadow follows the form. Compared to other network industries in terms of, the network game industry has high security risks and the operation is not standardized, the challenges faced in the online game plug-in is the network game development process, which not only affects the embodiment of network game user, but also infringes the lawful rights and interests of others, but also affect the healthy development of the market network.Based on how to effectively regulate the online game plug-in infringement of copyright theory discussion, the thesis is divided into seven parts. The first part is the introduction. This paper introduces the research background of the particular historical background and the status quo of China’s online game industry at present, the purpose of this study is to effectively regulate the online game plug-in infringement. At the same time, an overview of domestic and foreign research status of the online game plug-in, the research method of comparative study, literature research method and case analysis method is used in this paper. The second part is an overview of online game plug-in infringement. This paper discusses the related concepts of online game and its plug-in, including the copyright identification of online game copyright and the copyright of online game plug-in infringement, and further clarify the research object of this article. The third part is the analysis of infringement of China’s online game plug-in. The analysis of several online game plug-in infringement behavior. The plug-in infringement subject, tort, tort form and external infringement. In the online game plug-in way to bear tort liability, mainly related to the standard of liability, the principle and scope of compensation and other issues. The fourth part is to investigate the outside network game plug-in infringement of copyright legislation and judicial practice. The sixth part is the perfection of the legal regulation of online game plug-in infringement in our country.
