Theoretical Significance And Effect Of Asia Issue Research By Marx

Asia issue is always the significant problem in historical research and in Marx’s historical materialism construction, and also is the problem in researches on development law and tendency of modern capitalism by Marx. However, the Asia issue for Marx is different from the usually so-called Asia issue by the public. Marx would not take the issue as the problem of precapitalism, but a problem closely related to capitalism development. Therefore, the mission of his research is to reveal the universal law and tendency of human history development, especially the development law and tendency of modern capitalist system. His method denies people’s traditional idea of Eurocentrism in research on Asia issue, but to look upon the issue from the perspective of World History. Marx studies Asia issue from 1850 s until his old age. Duration is very long.In the initial study, he was deeply influenced Hegel as a representative of the western scholars’ Eurocentrism. With the progress of Marx’s thought and searching for the truth of history, He got rid of the traditional idea of Eurocentrism.Marx studies Asia issue from the perspective of World History, to reveal the universal law and development tendency, especially the law and tendency of capitalism development.(2) This part reveals the research substance and method of Asia issue by Marx. Against his research substance, he’s not to clarify the specific historical conditionsof Asia issue,but is to reveal the universal law and development tendency, especially the law and tendency of capitalism development. Mainly include, he reveals the particularity and law of precapitalism in the aspect of regional history, the development of modern capitalism and universal law of historical development.
