The Research On Deng Xiaoping’s Thinking Of The Modernization Of National Governance

The modernization of national governance is a new political concept. For China, promoting the modernization of national governance is the result of the Communist Party of China paying high attention to modernization, and making efforts to realize modernization. They are also the latest achievements in theory and practice of the innovation and modernization of the Chinese Communist party. The modernization of national governance has become a hot issue in the academic circles since the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China proposed to improve and develop the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, modernizing the national governance system and capabilities. Especially the party’s Fourth Plenary Session proposed the rule of law is the inevitable requirement of the modernization of national governance systems and governance capacity.The whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups under the leadership of Deng Xiaoping, in the process of exploring the road of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, put forward the theories of democracy, law, managing official strictly, and the four modernization. Now these theories become the meaning of the modernization of national governance and form the Deng Xiaoping’s thinking of the modernization of national governance. This paper attempts to review the speeches and literatures of Deng Xiaoping and summarizes Deng Xiaoping’s thinking of modernization of national governance.The paper is divided into four parts:Chapter one, the concepts and research value of Deng Xiaoping’s thinking of the modernization of national governance. This chapter aims to differentiate the meanings of governance, state governance, and national governance modernization and summarizes Deng Xiaoping’s thinking of the modernization of national governance. Then it analyses the value of research on Deng Xiaoping’s thinking of the modernization of national governance from three aspects.Chapter two, the background and establishment of Deng Xiaoping’s thinking of the modernization of national governance. First, from three aspects of foreign, domestic and the party background, the paper makes a deeper analysis of the background of Deng Xiaoping’s thinking of the modernization of national governance. Next, the paper analyses the conditions for the formation and development of Deng Xiaoping’s thinking of the modernization of national governance from three aspects of theoretical origin, theoretical basis and theoretical reference.
