Governance On The Illegal Construction Of Baiyun District In Guangzhou

With the urban area expanding, the land violation and illegal construction have gradually become the urgent problems to all levels of government. The phenomenon of Illegal construction, which has disrupted city layout and cause damage to the appearance of city, will undoubtedly hinder the development of economy and affect social sustainable development.Based on the analysis framework related to the illegal cases in Baiyun District and the literature and the political system and the policy process theory, the paper sums up the causes of illegal construction in Baiyun district and the dilemma in the process of handling with the problem. Based on the formal analysis, the paper also summarized the lesson learned from the process of government dealing with the illegal construction in recent years in Baiyun district.Regulation of illegal constructions is a comprehensive and systematic process. Therefore, before starting solving these problems, the conditions of the study object and the reason for the problems must be clarified. Besides, pertinent solution measures that should be taken shall be concluded from previous experience and future expectation in order to solve the problems. This paper’s study and analysis follows the process of “proposing problems, analyzing problems and solving problems”.
