Public servants’ property report system, as the ‘Freedom of Information Law’ of a legal country and as a weapon against corruption from the source, has been fully verified in a number of foreign countries and regions. At present, China’s honest government and anti-corruption struggle is boosted into depth. To build a public servant’ property report system conforms with Chinese national conditions, is not only the imperative ways to prevent corruption, but also the important means to curb corruption. This paper is focused on the path selection of the public servants’ property report system in China, which is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction, which introduces the background and significance of this topic, the domestic research status, research ideas and methods, etc. The second part is about the current situation and problems of the system in our country, which not only analyzes the efforts and achievements of our country in the property report system, but also discusses the problems and shortcomings. The third part make the comparison among the United States, Russia, Singapore and Vietnam about the main characteristics and practical results of the current public servants’ property report system, and a number of practical results are summarized. The fourth part discusses two modes about establishing the system in our country, including the necessity of adopting national laws, the obstacles of legislation and the feasibility analysis of using regulation model in the party.The fifth part is the specific recommendations to promote the construction of the relevant system. That is to revise the current relevant provisions of the property report as the short-term objectives, and to constitute and promulgate The Anti-corruption Laws of the People’s Republic of China as a long-term goal, as well as to establish eight specific working mechanisms and supporting system.
