With the deepening of economic reform, especially under the background of social transformation and upgrading, the interests of our country has undergone tremendous changes, while the changes in various fields are accompanied by the emergence of various social contradictions. Frequent occurrence of group events is one of the main manifestations of social conflicts. In recent years, the occurrence of group events in our country is a trend of the transition from the direct-interest conflict to the Non-direct-interest conflict. Although the economic development of Guangzhou is at the forefront in recent years, Non-direct-interest conflict incidents occur frequently. In a sense, Guangzhou is a microcosm of the whole social development, and many problems from the development of Guangzhou are representative.In the face of group events, many local governments in China usually deal with the public security organs as the main force, and the district(county) level public security organs in the group incidents are often not related to the event itself, but it is placed in a direct confrontation with the event. This results in the difficulty of dealing with mass incidents, especially in the event of non direct interest conflict.This paper takes P district of Guangzhou as an example, through literature analysis, interview method, comparative analysis and other social science research methods, the P District in recent years to study the situation of Non-direct-interest conflict group events, the article analyzes the causes, characteristics, and through the real case of P district public security organs in the disposal of Non-direct-interest conflict group events in the process of the challenges and difficulties. In addition, in the analysis of the regional characteristics of the P District of Guangzhou City, the successful experience of the Non-direct-interest conflict group events in the domestic and international management, and to explore the feasible countermeasures and suggestions.
