Since the reform and opening up, China’s economy has been rapid developed, and the pace of urbanization has also been in constant progress.In face of the rapid growth of the urban population, real estate enterprisesobtain an opportunity of rapid development, and high-rise residential buildingsstand in great numbers. At present, the most common living form is the residential estate. Therefore, the condominium ownership system has obtained more and more attentionsfrom the society. It is a kind of compound right which is different from the common ownership. In China, the condominium ownership mainly includes exclusive right, joint ownership and member right, among which joint ownership has always being the difficulty of the condominium ownership. Most disputes of condominium ownership are caused by joint ownership. This paper carries out the analysis from the theoretical perspective to study the basic theory of joint ownership of condominium ownership. Then a case is analyzed to dissect the four kinds of joint ownership of condominium ownership. Finally, the author puts forward some advises on the joint ownership protection of condominium ownership.
