It is a very important occasion and form in emotional communication, people can enhance the band of relationship and the sense of group belonging as well as support in financial;On the second place, it is used as a tool of utilitarianism. Holding a banquet has been changed to complete social relationship and wealth. Such changes can be observed in the differences of the forms, the amount of money given by the guests and the utilitarian-oriented motivation;Thirdly, the motivation, behavior system of the converted "banquet holding" have a close relationship with the speed conversion of the social structure, the disintegration of the traditional countryside life system and the group habit;Last but not least, during the process of changing the social structure, disintegrating of traditional rural life, social relationship and saving face get more and more attention, and the leading function of emotional communication gradually fades out and is replaced by a sense of tool nature, and it is why the meaning of "banquet holding" has been changing.
