Holding and attending a joy banquet in A village of Baoshan,Yunnan Province,is a way to establish,maintain and expand social relations.The joy banquet is indispensable in A village’s interpersonal communication.The joy banquet provides a place for activities and opportunities for communication.People maintain and broaden the communication circle through "zuoke",and confirm various social relations.To some extent,banquets can break the previous space and psychological separation,gather people together in a short time,maintain relations and feelings in this time and space.Based on the fieldwork of A village in Baoshan of Yunnan province,this paper analyzes the theories of interpretive anthropology and symbolic anthropology.The article is divided into seven parts.The introduction part mainly expounds the origin of the problem,including the overview of the social network connected by the joy banquet,as well as the introduction of A village in the field.In the literature review part combs the research on the joy banquet,joy banquet consumption,gift renqing relationship and social relationship network.In addition,this paper introduces the methods of fieldwork,literature collection,case analysis,deep description and comparison,emic and etic multi-angle analysis.The first chapter,joy banquet and time.According to the timeline of the development of joy banquet,highlights the role played by kinship in the whole process of joy banquet.The second chapter,joy banquet and food.through the recipes,food tools and production process,emphasizes the role of geographical relationship in it.The third chapter,joy banquet and space.It discusses the multi-dimensional activity space,gender space and how the space reflects the social status in the joy banquet,thus discusses the "face" and "mutual benefit" relationship derived from the geographical relationship.The fourth chapter.In the form of small group and collective carnival,all kinds of social relations how to coexist and entertain in the joy banquet.The fifth chapter,the social relationship network linked by the joy banquet.the social relationship network of A village is systematically analyzed,and the relationship among all levels is elaborated,as well as how the social relationship network can be maintained and changed.In the conclusion part,starting from the reality of A village and combining with the case analysis,we can see that the expansion of market economy system in rural society has changed the social relations of traditional society.The "cha xu ge ju" originally determined by kinship and geographical relations gradually does not adapt to the development demands of individuals,and the local kinship and geographical relations have gradually changed from the previous strong relationship to the weak relationship,and the business relationship has gradually become an important dimension that affects its social network.In A village,the social network scope,intimacy and firmness of the relationship between people and people,that is,between households will change with the passage of time,social changes and the change of individual livelihood mode,forming different mutually beneficial networks.Each social network overlaps with each other to form a overlapping network.Therefore,in the process of modernization,especially in the process of rural urbanization,although people are mostly separated into different social groups by time and space,there are a lot of phenomena of leaving their hometown and leaving their hometown,However,the convenience of population flow and media once again integrates people into diverse social group members through virtual network,so as to make different individuals appears in different social networks with a variety of identities,and constructs a overlapping social network.
