In the background of the new curriculum reform, it is the main goal of the senior highschool IT courses that how to effectively carry out the senior high school IT teaching toimprove students’ information literacy. The previous education model is based on theteacher-led teaching mode, due to the characteristics of the senior high school IT courses, andoverall quality of self-learning and innovation capacity requirements of the contemporarystudents,we must improve the teaching mode constantly. It forms a new mode, teacher-led andstudent body. Students make their own independent thinking and use knowledge learned in ITcourses to solve real-life problems. PBL teaching mode is that a problem-driven, independentlearning, the teacher guides the inquiry teaching mode. PBL teaching mode in senior highschool IT teaching can help students master the required knowledge in the teaching goals, butalso help students identify problems and problem-solving skills. The most important thing inthe problem-solving teaching process is the problem design, what has a direct impact on theeffect of teaching. The problem design in the PBL should be an important topic as teachingresearch. Its in-depth study and research is an urgent need for education reform.This article chooses the research of the problem design in the PBL teaching of seniorhigh school. The article can be divided in6parts as follows:Firstly, introduces the research background, research status quo, the study design andmethods, the purpose and meaning.Secondly, define and introduce the Conceptual and theoretical basis in PBL teaching.Thirdly, conduct research on PBL teaching status quo of senior high school informationtechnology courses, the survey from the PBL teaching status and information technologycourses high school students learning needs. On the analysis of senior high School IT teacherteaching position, how to design problem is the main problems encountered in the PBLteaching. On the analysis of student learning needs in IT, we draw the necessity andimportance of the application in PBL teaching.Fourthly, study thoroughly the meaning of “problem design” in PBL teaching, the basicprinciples of problem design in the PBL teaching of senior high school IT,the type of problemin senior high school IT, the creation of the problem situation in the PBL teaching of seniorhigh school IT, design steps of the problem in the PBL teaching of senior high school IT.Fifthly, practice case analysis. To make this theory with scientific rigor and convincing, to test validity of thetheory, the authors analyzes the effectiveness of teaching Through observation, interviewsand questionnaires, which is based on the practice cases. The results prove that the designproblem is effective and successful. The designed problem can attract students’ interest,stimulate students’ motivation, Improve students’ information literacy.
