The Study On College Students’ Network Politics

The rapid development of the Internet makes college students get a great progress inthe breadth, depth, and effectiveness of the behavior of participation in politics. As theimportant and particular group of Internet users, college students’ behavior of participationin politics online has the extremely profound influence on the development of socialpolitical democracy. Although in the process of network political participation, collegestudents show higher hot political attention, more positive political attitude and higherlevel of political concepts cognitive, their behavior in the network and the cognitive levelis at a huge asymmetry. Therefore, correctly guiding the students’ network on the rationaleffective way has the vital significance on building orderly network’s participation. In thispaper, we try to analyze the survey of network participating situation of college studentsfrom three aspects by analysis of the literature, questionnaire and statistical analysis.The first part: To definite the connotations of politics online and college students’network in politics, characteristics, function and operating mechanism, and illustrate themain theoretical basis of this paper, including the social anomie theory, the politicalsystem theory, demand hierarchy theory, etc.The second part: Through the questionnaire statistical analysis of all kinds ofstudents in colleges and universities of Qinhuangdao, and combined with related literatureanalysis, this paper analyses the situation of college students’ network in politics, thepositive aspects, negative aspects and the influence factors of college students’ network inpolitics. At the same time, it also points out the status quo of political disorder forms, andgives the reason analysis about the disorder. This paper has pointed out the direction of therational network politics for college students.The third part: Aimed at solving the problems that existing in college students’network politics, guiding measures are put forward. In order to provide a new thought offuture research and practice of college students’ network politics, this paper puts forwardto build an effective mechanism for college students’ network in politics from the cultureof college students’ network politics, the network environment, and the government management.
