the Chinese reading teaching is an important part of the whole Chinese education,and it is also an effective way to improve students’ reading ability. Reading teaching canhelp students go into books, close to nature, feel the life and experience social life, learnfrom others’ experience, then finally enrich and perfect themselves. But for thecountryside junior middle school students in the poor areas, their Chinese reading mostlyin a positon that the teachers teach in bitter and the students learn in bitter. Therefore, inthe new round of the reform of course, to find a way that fit the flocal characters, thecurrent Chinese reading teaching and learning, is a task need to urgently solve.The paper researched the Chinese reading teaching in the countryside junior middleschool for three aspects. The first chapter analysed the meaning of researching thistopic by analysing the research situation both at home and abroad, The second chapteranalysed the present situation of the Chinese reading teaching in countryside juniormiddle schools and their causes,as well as the main problems that exsist in thecountryside junior middle school teachers, students and classes. The third chapter mainlydiscussed the strategy of the change of the students’ Chinese reading ideas, guidingstudents to read and analyzing the evaluation system of the Chinese reading teaching.
