| College students are props and pillars in the construction of modern society and the realization of the renaissance of China. They are endowed with a lot of missions of this age. With the rapid development of the society and economy as stepping into21st century, the development of both physical and mental health of college students has become one of the public focuses. Their physical and mental well-being is not only the guarantee of a normal way of study, living and making progress, but also is closely related to the development of this society and country.Nevertheless, the development of our society and economy, the reform of educational system and the rising competitiveness of the job market have exerted some negative influence upon the healthily physiological development of these college students with the interwoven factors stemmed from the middle and the last phase of their adolescence, which is an unsteady and premature mentality. Some of them has suffered from psychological confusion, problems, even diseases, etc. All these elements mentioned above affect both their physical and mental development.There are many methods for college students to receive psychological education, such as school, societal, family education, etc. Among them, family education is regarded as an important aspect which is attached to the entire growth of college students. Although the independence of college students is getting stronger and the reliance upon families is weakening as they enter universities, the bond between them and their families, which is regarded as a place for growth and living, must be acknowledged as well. Their mental well-being is still influenced by their families. Therefore, we need to pay more attention to the role played by family education in college students’psychological health and put its function and effect to the limit in order to help them development comprehensively.First of all, this dissertation aims to analyze the relation between family education and the development of college students’psychological health on the basis of the relevant theories by pointing out the importance born by family education in college students’mental health. Second, this paper will profoundly uncover the influence cast by family education upon college students’mental development with their problematic mental well-being at universities currently, such as the backward opinion, the unhealthy manner, and the unsound structure of family education. All of them will influence the development of college students’psychological development in a negative sense by arousing every kinds of psychological perplexity. Last but not least, based on the advantageous and rational theories about family education at both national and international level, this work actively explored the function of family education in the development of college students’mentality and contributed some ideas concerning the establishment of family education in the context of modern society. By structuring a rational mode of family education, the healthy development of college students’ mentality and the perfection of their personality will be promoted. Thus, college students will obtain a comprehensive development to adjust themselves to the society, to this age and the demand of their own development in a better way and become mature and successful in the future. |
