The Non-governmental University College Students’ Mental Health Research:a Case Of Shengda Trade Economics And Management College Of Zhengzhou

Since the reform and opening up, the scale of China’s rapidly growing private colleges and universities, along with the rapid growth of private college students, promote student mental health has become an important research topic of private universities. The study of Shengda Trade Econmics&Management College Of Zhengzhou students surveyed, using psychological symptom checklist (SCL-90) collective Surveying, a954survey of private mental health of college students, private college students mastered basic mental health situation.The survey found that private colleges and universities students of SCL-90scores were significantly higher than the national norm, there are obvious psychological problems28.3%of the students. Manifestations of psychological problems which the proportion of girls than boys, poor students are more serious psychological problems, rural students in interpersonal sensitivity and anxiety scores were significantly higher than urban students, only children and no significant difference in students’ mental different grades significantly different health conditions.Factors that affect the mental health of Private University Students are manifold. First, private college students in adolescence, there is a big variety of psychological characteristics of volatility changes in the environment to trigger social role change, causing more intense psychological process; secondly, has long been neglected private colleges educating mental health, Private college students lack knowledge of mental health, their appearance can not correctly understand the various psychological problems and looking for a solution; Finally, the mental health of private universities lack the protection mechanism can not be an effective solution allows private college students suffer from psychological crisis.In this study, the findings as the basis for the analysis of private college students mental health of specific characteristics, combined with the current situation of education policy and the actual situation of private Universities, and made the following recommendations to improve the private mental health of college students: adhere to the people-centered, attention Private college students mental health education.; strengthen mental health education teaching staff of private universities; attention to mental health education of students from poor families, newborn, graduates and other special groups; establish mental health education, mental health counseling to improve the mechanism, a multi-disciplinary Private enhance mental health of college students.
