The origin of communicative teaching comes from German. As oneof the most effective strategies, the model has been taken in manycounties. The purpose of technic schools is training the students withmedium theoretical level and professional skills. Practical writing is oneof the vital parts in Chinese teaching for technic schools. Take ChongqingVocational College of Light Industry for example, whose Chineseteaching belongs to practical writing. Just like other courses, practicalwriting is a professional skill for those students. For a long time, however,practical writing in technic schools is effectless. That is to say, theteachers feel exhausted to teach while the students feel hard to learn. Howto teach practical writing in technic schools is a badly difficult questionfor these teachers.The author takes Chongqing Vocational College of Light Industryas the object of study. First, the paper will introduce communicativeteaching theory and its instructive model. Then, it is going to analyze thecurrent situation of practical writing in technic schools. By practicing, all aspects of the students will be improvedobviously, including interesting for learning,inter-communication, corporation and the ability of practical writing.Practice shows that communicative teaching is really a feasible wayto improve quality of those students in practical writing of technicschools. At the same time, it’s also a promising and effective teachingmodel, which should be advocated and mirrored.
