Research On The Special Assistance Policy In Family-planning Families

China is the world’s most populous country in the world. In order to slow down thepopulation growth, our Chinese government implements the Family-planning Policy. Nowgreat achievements have been made in controlling the population growth since theimplementation of the policy. But the number of China’s one-child family is soaring as bothlate marriages and late childbirth are advocated, in addition to fewer and better births. As aresult, the number of only-child family with child gets disabled or dead increase as the risksof child gets disabled or dead increase. Therefore, our Chinese government promulgates aspecial assistance policy on the disabled-child or lost-child family. The Policy is of greatimportance since it can not only reduce the great pressure for the disabled-child or lost-childfamily, but also enable these families in parallel with the local average living standards.Since the implementation of the special assistance policy, the burdens of life on thedisabled-child or lost-child family relieve greatly. The author makes a deep study on thetroubles of life and the sufferings endured by the disabled-child or lost-child family in ruralareas as well as the understanding on the special assistance policy. Then make a furtherresearch on the results we’ve achieved as well as the insufficiencies during the process ofimplementing the special assistance policy on the basis of the interviews together with theachievements made by our researchers in the present stage.This paper can effectively help the implementation of the special assistance policy inBaoding as well as in our country.
