The new curriculum reform repeatedly mentioned the need to developstudents’ sense of mathematical problems, the cultivation of awareness isthe key to cultivating innovative talents. Since the1980s,"problemsolving" into China, researchers have started to pay attention to developstudents awareness of mathematical problems. However, these studieslack of awareness of the status of the issue concerns rural junior highschool, so the lack of practice in rural junior high school mathematicseducation targeted strategies.Based on this, the study through questionnaires, tests, interviews andother research methods, awareness of the current situation in rural juniorhigh school students to analyze the problem, and then proposeappropriate teaching strategies. The results showed that: awareness ofrural junior high school math problems is relatively weak, the lack ofconfidence on the proposed mathematical problems and thecorresponding skills, the issues raised are mainly concentrated in theanswers to question the reasoning process, the ins and outs ofmathematical knowledge, lack of awareness of the importance of thinking,questioning not only for the purpose of solving their own problems anddid not want to raise awareness of independent innovation of their own,and when they encounter problems, most students choose a question tothe students, asking questions mostly asked topics solution, but how to think process solution and learning methods will not get to the bottom, tobe able to understand the answers to questions you do not dig deepreflection, teachers and textbooks rarely questioned the lack of suspicioncritical spirit. For questions students lack harmony, democraticatmosphere in the classroom.On this basis, analyzes the main factors that affect students’awareness of the problem and propose countermeasures and developawareness of the students to think of rural issues.
