With the rapid development of science and technology, information and knowledge hasalso been increasing sharply with their high update speed and accelerated innovation.Therefore, it has been a must to promote the overall quality of the individual, so has beenlearning to become the urgent need for all groups. Learning is no longer a passive recipientsof knowledge, but the construction of knowledge by identifying and solving problems. In thecourse of learning, a large part of the knowledge comes from informal learning for collegestudents. According to the survey, informal learning accounts for more than75%of aindividual’s knowledge, whereas less than20%of these informal knowledge has been paidattention to by individuals. In recent years, people realized that informal learning plays animportant role in their work, learning and life, so it gains some importance. Informallearning in the network environment has become a hot topic and attracted widespreadattention. However, the study on informal learning is still at an accumulating phase and hasno relatively mature theory system.Based on the analysis of the current situation of informal learning in the networkenvironment, this survey found out the existing problems of informal learning in the networkenvironment and analyzed the factors that influenced informal learning from three levels.Onthe basis of lifelong learning theory, social constructivist learning theory and the theory ofinformal learning in network environment, questionnaires were prepared and a survey wasconducted among the students in Long dong University and northwest Normal University.After the careful analysis of the data obtained, this survey summed up the existing problemsin the use of informal learning networks for the students and summarized its factors:personal factors (the state of college students’own learning, learning skills and strategies,the interest and identification of learning content), organization environment, resources andtechnology to use. Then, based on the feasibility analysis, it presented the strategies, hopingto better improve college the informal learning in a network environment for students.
