Public class as the "critical incident" is always accompanied by the languageteacher professional development, the language teacher in the normal course ofbehavior and ways of thinking in the public class shows stronger professionalcharacteristics of the platform. Can make good use of this platform to make it play apositive function, about professional development of its own, is also about theeducation and growth of the students.Chose a typical case, this study by studying its growth stage of the three types ofpublic class events, namely: the adaptation of the failure event, mature type inspiredby the success of the event, ChuangZaoQi events further explore public class in thepositive role of the language teacher professional development. The adversephenomenon, at the same time, in view of the present public class can be drawnlessons from this study also proposed, which can realize the strategy, which is themeaning of this study. Based on this, this study is to follow the "tells the story publicclass and the language teacher professional development, analysis of the differenttypes of public class, effect on the language teacher professional development,improve public class to promote teachers’ professional development can realize thestrategy" train of thought.Paper adopts qualitative research methods, mining step by step, focus and way ofstimulating the interview. To review their own public class experience and their ownprofessional development process, and to explain their own public class teachingbehavior. The author with the analysis of qualitative research materials, tools NVivo8sorts through the interview material and analyzes the different types of public classevents for the role of language teachers’ professional development, the followingconclusions, namely: the setback incident reveals the teacher recessive education idea,stimulate their initiative development consciousness, make teachers’ professionalidentity, professional self promotion. Objective in the face of gain and loss, form thecorrect understanding; Inspired type event let group between teachers in teachingwisdom, renewal education idea, stimulating learning motivation, increase practicalknowledge, change their teaching behavior, established the professional ideal;Successful event is to strengthen teachers’ achievement motivation, improve professional level, make it adhere to the self in the teaching, teaching wisdom, and topromote the teacher reflection, never and strengthen teaching and research ability. Allin all, public class to the teacher’s role in the development of touch the essence of thelanguage connotation of teachers’ professionalization. Finally, the author proposed toimprove the public class strategy: to promote the development of Chinese teacherspecialization class case study day-to-day work; Build learning community; We willimprove the mechanism of school-based teaching and research implementation;Listen to the teacher to the professional preparation, and evaluation.
