Research On Histrory Of Higher Education Internationalization Development In Canada

Canada is always one of the major destinations for overseas students to study abroad for a long time. Canada’s national higher education developed quickly. During the long period development, it has sophisticated system and management. Therefore, the history of education development is the same with the logic history development. The paper analyzes Canada’s history change during the period of pre-world war II,post-world War II and the change of1990s based on the internationalization and the history of researching high education development. The author elaborates it from the following three aspects. Canada’s higher education is in the primary stage and its related system, course training objectives and reform plan in pre-world war II. The high education rapid development reasons and power of Canada in post-world war II promote its development. It is the force, causes, development performance and new era. Thirdly, the internationalization’s higher education development has become the main discussion topic and one of the main measurements of evaluation national higher education development under the background of globalization since1990s. The paper shows the detail situation of Canada’s high education internationalization development.Last but not the least we can safely conclude that the influence factors of Canada’s higher education development have both its historical economy and political element and its deep-rooted education development consciousness of Canadians.
