With the development of the globalization of knowledge economy,the communication among cultures of countries in the world have beco me increasingly convenient and the boundaries between countries have be come increasingly blurred.Higher education as a cornerstone of cultural and nurturing talent has always been influenced by international trends,The concept of internationalization of higher education is also gradually accepted by the majority of scholars with the continuous development of globalization,Its rapid development not only promotes the communicati on and blending of cultures among different countries,making the higher education in different countries learn from each other in terms of runni ng ideas,management mechanism,teaching contents and methods,but als o makes the competition among higher education increasingly fierce.Unde r this background,Canada,which always pays attention to the quality of education and adheres to the concept of equal education,is unwilling to lag behind and is actively involved in the wave of competition.This stu dy mainly studies the relevant policies arising from the internationalizatio n of Canadian higher education since the birth of the historical developm ent,and also analyzes the background,significance,participation agencie s,content and focal.point of the policy.The development of the internationalization of higher education in C anada is affected by many factors such as politics and economy,mainly divided into the embryonic stage from colonial rule in the process,after the two World War and the Great Depression of 1930s to the end of tw entieth Century and the end of the twentieth Century to the formation st age,development stage now.The development of the internationalization o f higher education in Canada is affected by many factors such as politics and economy,and is divided into three main stages,respectively is the embryonic stage from colonial rule in the process,after the two World War and the Great Depression of 1930s to the end of twentieth Century the formation stage,and at the end of twentieth Century to today's stage of development.Based on the basic national conditions of Canada,the c ountry does not have a national higher education government departments.Therefore,the implementing agencies involved in the internationalization of higher education policy mainly include other federal government depa rtments,universities,education intermediary organization and so on.And Multi-party cooperation is also one of the characteristics of policies of in ternationalization of higher education in Canada.Policies of Internationali zation of higher education in Canada from the previous dispersion charac teristics to the current national education internationalization strategy prop osed,has undergone many changes.At present,the characteristics of polici es of internationalization of higher education in Canada mainly include th e coordination of all parties in the policy proposal,policy objective emph asizes the establishment of a good international brand image,in the cont ent of the policy emphasis on international students focus on the educati on market and strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between internat ional organizations and other aspects of cooperation.However,there are still many problems,such as neglecting the internationalization of their st udents,guiding the lack of more national higher education policies,and allocating the funds rationally and so on.Since the reform and opening up,China's higher education has devel oped rapidly,has made remarkable achievements and entered the popula r stage,but is not outstanding in the fierce international competition,Th ere is still a lot of work to be done to make the world-class level.After studying the Policies of Internationalization of higher education in Cana da,I have found some places which have enlightenment and reference fo r our country.Mainly includes the Internationalization of higher education should be included in the national development strategy,the policy conte nt focus on the creation of China education brand,strengthen the internat ionalization of the two-way flow of personnel of colleges and universities,the development of a more rich and diverse international cooperation pr ojects,colleges and universities to promote the internationalization of curr iculum reform,give full play to the role of educational intermediary orga nizations as a bridge and so no.
