Reverse thinking breeds the buds of creative thinking, and middle school is a critical period to the development students’ thinking. Thus, it is obviously to see the importance and necessity of exploring reverse thinking ability ways and methods about the training in Chemistry Teaching for the development of the chemistry education reform.This dissertation consists of five parts:In the first part, the important role of this paper included three aspects:reverse thinking gestates the seeds of creative thinking, reverse thinking ability is the request of the students innovative ability and this topic provides the basis for the further research were briefly introduced. In addition, the possibility and importance of the students reverse thinking ability at the secondary stage were discussed.The second section expounded the basic theory of reverse thinking ability:starting from the characteristics of reverse thinking ability, six factors that affect the reverse thinking ability of students on the basis of brain science, theories of psychology and constructivist learning theory were discussed.The third section analyzed the present situation of reverse thinking ability training, according to the questionnaire survey form teachers and students. After a school year of reverse thinking ability training, the following methods are effective from the examination results and students’ learning feelings.The fourth part elaborated the strategies of cultivating students’reverse thinking in the process of chemistry teaching, which includes classroom teaching, laboratory activities, exercises trainings and extra-curricular activities, and teachers also should constantly improve their reverse thinking ability.Finally, the topic analyzed several issues of this research, and also illuminated some enlightenment through the study of the subject. In addition, several problems are discussed, which need to be noticed in training students’ reverse thinking ability.Anyhow, training the reverse thinking ability is a long-term work, and it can’t work in a short time, which requires teachers patiently guided, and do not expect results in a short time. Only teachers respect the laws of chemistry education and avoid perfunctory practices and ideas, the obvious effects will be obtained.
